Liga MX teams still dominate latest Concacaf club rankings

The local governing body for Central and North America has provided the latest list of the best clubs in the region.

After the conclusion of the Leagues Cup and with the Concachampions the next club confederation tournament for the region on the horizon, CONCACAF have published the latest September ranking of the region’s top clubs where Mexican clubs stand out amid growing competition from MLS teams.

In a region with with more than 180 leading clubs, eight of the top 10 positions are those from Liga MX with just two MLS sides in the top ten. Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami are one of the biggest movers and now sit in twelfth position in the latest September rankings.
